Avery Seretan has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Southern California. She has worked in Education for the past eight years and began her career as high school teacher serving students with special needs. Currently, as a Program Officer on the Early Care and Education team at First 5 LA, Avery manages relationships with school districts across Los Angeles County and works to ensure that a common tool for school readiness is adopted. She believes in access and educational equity for all kids and is committed to ensuring that all kids enter school ready to succeed in school and in life.
